John began his professional life in the 1970s at EMI, after graduating from the University of Leeds with an honours degree.  After several technical posts, where he gained Chartered Engineer level with the IEE (now the IET), he joined the Marketing Department of RS Components, where he held a number of different appointments for 25 years.  This encompassed all aspects of product marketing, including significant international work.  He obtained the Diploma from the Institute of Marketing.

John opted for early retirement from RS and is now available to work for you on a wide variety of marketing assignments.

John offers a lower cost service than a traditional consultant in a standard consultancy.

Married with grown-up children, John also gives his time as a Director of a Pensions Trust for a large local business.
